When in the course of writing a blog you find yourself needing to separate from the work and let someone else take the stage. This week we are doing just that. We have a guest blogger with her take on any subject of her choosing, completely without input from me or restriction. While this endeavor is meant to foster a more creative writer in me, I do find it helpful to have someone else come along and show me how I can improve. She is critical and unapologetically frank in her opinions of my attempts at humor, as well as writing and pretty much anything else. Hi! My name is Izzy, and I will be sharing some of my favorite makeup tricks that will really make a neutral look pop, as well as helping your natural beauty glow even brighter. Today we a starting with a quick and easy way to create a fun graphic makeup look while in a hurry. All you must do is mix a clear brow gel and an eyeshadow color of your choice and it will give you a fun color liner when you’re in a hurry or just don’t feel like looking around in a store. Another way to really make a look stand out is with a basic red lip. A nice deep red lip will take any look from a 5 to a 10. And lastly but certainly not least my all-time favorite trick that I use on a daily basis. After taking your eye makeup off I love to put Vaseline on my eyelashes. Especially for those of ya’ll who wear waterproof mascara, Vaseline helps take of the mascara that you couldn’t quite get off. This helps so much in so many ways. The Vaseline on your natural lashes also helps your lashes grow longer and fuller as well as restoring the nutrients to your eyelashes so they don’t break, and they remain nice and healthy.
